I’m embarrassed that this is a true story.

Last night I had a dream I was about to eat a chocolate covered alfajor, but I dropped it right before I bit into it.  I immediately woke up and starting searching around room, in between the sheets, around my nightstand, under my copy of Las Venas Abiertas de América Latina, mildly panicking that the chocolate would start melting.  Then I stopped for a moment and thought about what I was doing five minutes before: sleeping, NOT about to eat a bañado de chocolate alfajor.  I decided that I needed to go back to sleep so that my day wouldn’t start with me pathetically searching for an a non-existent alfajor.

The culprit:

Time for an emergency alfajor!  Am I right or am I right?
